This show was particularly special because it was their first show without John Galliano since 1996, so his right hand man Bill Gaytten was given the opportunity. Now i know that i know basically nothing about high fashion and just kind of blog these photos and leave a comment afterwards but this is simply what i think as an outsider. Although the pieces were enthusiastic i felt that there was simply too much going on. There wasn't enough focus in the show. I get that a lot of runway shows are meant to represent a journey etc. etc. But from the photos that i have seen of this show there is no real link between the different styles shown in this collection. When i was looking at the photos i thought that i'd accidently started looking at a different season's photos. There is no doubt that there was a lot of enthusiasm in the pieces but i just felt that there was too much going on at once.
probably an outfit post later today - i'm getting my hair cut for the first time in ages
